Day 1

Hyderabad city is known for its rich history, food and its multi-lingual culture. Occupying 650 square kilometers (250 sq. mi) along the banks of the Musi River.

From biryani to historic structures, Hyderabad is an attractive city in several ways. The historical backdrop of this city can be followed through the tombs of its rulers, aristocrats and holy people. In this tour you will hear the stories of Hyderabad’s rich and cultural past. Hyderabad city was home to one of the wealthiest persons in the world, Mir Osman Ali Khan, the last governing Nizam of Hyderabad.

09:00 AM – 09:30 AM  Jagannath Temple

A must visit if not for religious inclinations, then for its architectural magnificence, temple replicate the architecture of the Jagannath temple in Puri. The temple complex is tinted in the shade of burnt brick, because of the use of sandstone brought from Orissa. More than 600 tons of sandstone was used to build the entire temple and around 60 stone carvers were brought in to work on it.

10:00 AM – 11:15 AM  Chowmahalla Palace

Once regarded as the center of Hyderabad, the magnificent Chowmahalla Palace was the seat of the Asaf Jahi dynasty where the Nizam’s entertained their official guests and royal visitors. Built over 200 years ago, Chowmahalla is renowned for its unique style and elegance. A synthesis of many architectural styles and influences, the Palace Complex has been meticulously restored.

11:30 AM – 12:10 PM  Charminar

This is a massive and impressive structure with four minarets. . This landmark has become the global icon of Hyderabad. The fifth ruler of the Qutub Shahi dynasty Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutub Shah after shifting his capital from Golconda to Hyderabad he built this monument in 1591.

12:45 PM – 01:30 PM  Laad Bazaar

After the tea we start the walking tour of Laad Bazaar. You may shop for the specialties of Hyderabad here. Laad Bazaar is the main market for bangles, semi-precious stones, pearls, jewellery, products such as silverware, Nirmal, Kalamkari paintings, Bidriware,  lacquer  bangles studded with stones,  saris and hand-woven materials of silk, cotton. Brocade, velvet and gold embroidered fabrics, traditional  Khara  Dupattas, lacquer bangles and perfumes.

03:30 PM – 04:30 PM  Golconda Fort

The Golconda Fort used to have a vault where once the famous Koh-I-Noor and Hope diamonds among others were stored.

The Fort, originally built by the Kakatiya Rulers, has amazingly advanced acoustics systems that were used for signaling approaching enemy as well as for detecting conspiracies being hatched in palace corners! The Fort also is unique in the usage of natural boulders (that date back to a billion years), distinctive of the Deccan plateau, as foundation stones for the structure.

06:10 PM – 07:30 PM  Shilparamam

Shilparamam is a craft village you will find various traditional arts and crafts by artisans from all over the country. Its one of the tourist spot in Hyderabad, the complex of Shilparamam has Crafts Museum, Cultural Museum, Art Gallery & Library, Multi-purpose Auditorium, Common Facility workshops and Research & Design Center along with accommodation facilities for artists and visitors coming from all over India.  They display their works here, varying from traditional jewelry, hand-woven saris, shawls, dresses, bed sheets.

Shilparamam, visitors can also relish some spicy chat’s and mouth watering snacks. For art lovers, there are always dance performances and activities conducted on the open theatre with ample of seating facility which you can see free of cost.

Now that you have experienced the old much talked about Hyderabad, will take you thru the new developing Hyderabad which is almost 17kms away from Old city. Most commonly called as “Cyberabad” and Hi Tech City. It’s a new world developed by IT companies. Here you would experience the sky-high building, the modernity.

  • The taxes mentioned are as on date and are subject to revision in the event of any changes
  • In case of unavailability in the listed hotels, arrangement for an alternate accommodation will be made in a hotel of similar or higher standard
  • Price is calculated per passenger on twin-sharing basis
  • Briefing sheet will be delivered 2 days prior to the departure date
  • Surcharges will apply in case of any trade fair/ special event in the city.
  • No refund either in part or full will be made for any unused services in the selected package like ground transportation, meals, accommodation or sightseeing tours.

Cancellation Policy

  • Prior to 21 days or more: Non-refundable deposit of 25% of holiday cost per person or as advised at the time of booking.
  • Between 20 – 11 days of departure: Non-refundable deposit of 50% of holiday cost per person  or as advised at the time of booking.
  • Between 11 – 0 days of departure: 100% of the package cost per person  or as advised at the time of booking.
