Golkonda fort

Most of the forts of India are located in Rajasthan. But one of the most beautiful fort named “Golkonda Fort” is located in Hyderabad. This is the fort where once upon a time lived the “Richest Man of the World”. On our tour we would share with you the history of the Fort which is a complete city in itself. The Golkonda Fort used to have a vault where once the famous Koh-i-Noor and Hope diamonds were stored along with other diamonds. Diamonds are a Girls best friend and you will be amazed that the discovery of Diamonds and its importance started very much from this place. We would also show you the Secret Tunnel which was found in Golkonda fort connecting the Charminar, which is believed to have hidden treasures–kept there by the Nizams, with emergency exits– at several places.

Charminar

Inspite of many theories regarding the purpose for which Charminar was constructed let us guide you the most Authentic tale behind the making of The Charminar. During the Mughal governorship between Qutb Shahi and Asaf Jahi rule, the southwestern minaret fell to pieces after being struck by lightning but was immediately repaired. Charminar is an living example of technology in that era. In 2007, Hyderabad Muslims living in Pakistan constructed a small-scaled quasi replica of the Charminar at the main crossing of the Bahadurabad neighborhood in Karachi

Purani Haveli

Live like a Nizam. The Purani Haveli is the residence of the Nizams. Here you get an opportunity to feel the richness of the richest man in that era. The World’s Longest Wardrobe, built in two levels with a hand-cranked wooden lift in place. Rooms in the haveli still boast of colorful tiled walls and mosaic flooring which are almost intact. The core of the museum is a rich collection of souvenirs, gifts, mementos and models presented to the 7th Nizam on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations in 1927 and later.

The Kakatiya Detour

The Kakatiyas who ruled almost 700 years ago, were one of the last Hindu dynasties of the region. This tour takes you to the ancient town of Warangal which bears testimony to the grandeur of the ancient kingdom as well as the scars of the onslaught of the Mughals.
